Make it Fun!
Let the little chefs pretend that they are artists for the day! Can they make a mouse with the radish? Provide thinly sliced radish circles for them to use as the ears.

Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients:

3 tbsp. (45 ml) lemon juice

1 tsp. (5 ml) mustard

5 tbsp. (75 ml) olive oil

1 head romaine lettuce

1 cup radishes
-
2 pears, halved and cored
How To:

Whisk lemon juice, mustard, and olive oil together until combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Tear or chop lettuce into bite sized pieces.

Slice pears and radishes as thin as possible (use a mandolin if available). Add to lettuce.

Pour dressing over lettuce mixture and toss until combined.
For Leftovers...
Switch it up! Try roasting the leftover radishes and add them back to your salad. It’s like a whole new vegetable!
