Kale and Banana Smoothie
Kale is a great source of nutrients like vitamin A, C, and K.

Makes: 3 servings
(1/2 cup each)
2 cups (500 ml) chopped fresh or frozen kale
½ cup (125 ml) 2% milk (or milk alternative of choice)
1 tsp. (5 ml) honey
1 tbsp. flax (optional)
Add flax seeds (if desired) to your blender and grind.
Add the kale, banana, almond milk (or milk of choice), and honey. Blend for 2 minutes.

Experiment with different flavours by letting your little chef choose different fruits to add. Frozen strawberries or raspberries are always a hit!
Made too much? Pour leftovers into popsicle molds or small plastic cups, add popsicle sticks, and freeze. Enjoy your frozen treat days later!
